Types of Wooden Pallets
4 Way Entry Pallet
Also known as block pallets. Compared to stringer pallets, these wooden pallets offer better durability and greater warehousing optimization. They offer forklift/pallet jack access from all four sides.
2 Way Entry Pallet
Also known as stringer pallets. These wooden pallets are cost effective options for the transportation of goods. They offer forklift/pallet jack access from two sides.
2 Way Entry Wooden Pallet Construction Variations
Winged
Deck boards overhang to allow for better wrapping of plastic pallet wrap.
Reversible
Reversible wooden pallets can be flipped, as both sides are symmetrical, increasing product longevity.
Duck Board
Wooden platform used for storing items off the ground. Commonly used in workshops.
Plywood Deck
A plywood Deck with strips of plywood that act as stringers.
Close Boarded wooden pallets have little to no gaps in between deck boards, creating a closed deck
Open Boarded
Close Boarded
Open boarded wooden pallets have gaps in between the deck boards. It is cost effective and reduces the weight.
A cost effective option. These skids have no bottom deck boards.

Deck and stringers can be manufactured using only plywood making the item ISPM 15 exempt, which translates to faster customs clearing.
4 Way Entry Wooden Pallet Construction Variations
Perimeter Base
The base of the wooden pallet is constructed with planks running the perimeter of the pallet. The perimeter helps to strengthen the pallet.
Partial 4 Way
A 2 way entry wooden pallet with notched stringers. Lower durability is a factor to consider.
Open Boarded
Open boarded wooden pallets have gaps in between the deck boards. It is cost effective and reduces the weight.
Close Boarded
Close Boarded wooden pallets have little to no gaps in between deck boards, creating a closed deck.

Skid

Dimensions
Menzilmann Industries offers a comprehensive list of standard wooden pallets that comply with the overall dimensions indicated in ISO 6780. We are however, not limited to those six dimensions.
Custom Specifications
We are able to manufacture wooden pallets to suite each client’s application. For this reason, we offer wooden pallets in a variety of lumber dimensions, grades and construction variations. Custom painting and branding are available. Pallet Coatings can include pesticides and fungicides if required. Painting is only recommended for kiln dried ISPM 15 compliant wooden pallets. Custom colour available on high volume orders.
Grades of wood
We offer wooden pallets in a variety of grades to suite each application.
C Grade
We offer C grade as Wet off sawn & Kiln dried. Once dried it is called Crating grade.
B Grade
We offer B grade as Wet off sawn & Kiln dried. Once dried it is called Industrial grade.
A Grade
We offer A grade as Wet off sawn & Kiln dried. Once dried it is called Appearance Grade Industrial or Clear Grade.
Please note wet pallets are cost effective alternatives however, they are not ISPM 15 compliant and are nearly double the weight of dried pallets (Kiln dried or Air dried)
